labor day weekend on long island

Another big holiday weekend is coming up and we're raring to go! We've got all our vehicles cleaned and inspected, as usual, and we're ready for all your exciting plans.

Give us a call today to schedule all your Labor Day weekend rides with Barton's Limo. No matter how big or small the group, we've got the perfect vehicle for you.

Events to Attend This Labor Day Weekend
  1. Riis Park Beach Bazaar - Out of all the fun things to do in summer in NYC, nothing beats raging on one of the best New York beaches—Jacob Riis National Park. Thanks to the Riis Park Beach Bazaar, there’s always something fun to do in the sand. Whether you're interested in a live concert, a riveting game of table tennis or a bumping DJ blowout, the creators sure know how to bring the fun. After dancing and jamming, hit the boardwalk and refuel at the beach bazaar's various concession stands. Bring your cash to peruse the boardwalk’s vendors hawking everything from bathing suits to rad throwbacks from vintage clothes shops while you wait for your food to settle.
  2. West Indian Day Parade - The West Indian Day Parade and carnival, the culmination of New York Caribbean Carnival Week, is consistently one of the best things to do over the summer. The event draws close to two million people, so, yeah, you could consider this the most exciting Labor Day Parade NYC has to offer. Spend Saturday and Sunday milking what's left of summer at one of New York's beaches, then use Monday to fully immerse yourself in rich Caribbean culture and heritage. It’s bound to be one of the best summer parties in New York this year.
  3. U.S. Open - The U.S. Open is one of the most exciting things to do in Queens. For three weeks, Flushing Meadows–Corona Park will be the tennis capital of the world. Things kick off with a free fan week filled with matches between legends, interactive activities, happy hours and more. After 8/26 the fans still bring the party to the National Tennis Center with a celebrity-studded crowd (past famous attendees include Oprah, Alec Baldwin and Jimmy Fallon), while local food trucks bring the eats, and live musicians perform on the grounds. Oh, and did we mention this is your chance to breathe the same air as the top pros in tennis? Whether you're heading to the courts during the day or for a match under the lights, check out how to score autographs from the likes of badass Serena Williams, catch the best action and hobnob with the VIPs.

Happy New Year everyone! We’ve embarked on a new decade which means even bigger new year resolutions this time around. We’ve thought long and hard about what we could work on as a company which we do annually as a team. We reflected on the past year and what our envision our goals to be for the future. We thought about our clients, our employees, our fleet and our clients of course. However, this year, we decided that reflecting on the past year wasn’t enough, so we decided to truly dig into the past decade. What we found was the immense ways that we’ve grown, the things we’ve learned and the amazing changes we’ve made for the better. We’ve expanded our fleet, updated our inspection process and met so many wonderful people along the way among many other advancements. We love what we do but what we love most about it is being able to be of service to you. With all of our hearts, we would like to thank you, our loyal clients, for continuing this journey with us. We cannot wait to show you all the updates and changes we come up with in the next ten years. Thank you for an amazing decade, From all of us at Barton’s Limousine, LLC
